Solo Canoe

Filmed in the famous Lake Temagami wilderness area of old-growth forests and deepwater, this is a story about a man and his canoe, and the stillness that can be found by going alone into the wilderness.

Filming in the wilderness is challenging enough, but doing it solo, is quite remarkable considering filmmaker Matt Steeves also did the ‘drone’ filming on that trip as well as planned the steep rocky climbs while miles from civilization of any kind.
